The Regional IT Operations Coordinator is the face of MB2 IT for the practices in their region. You will be the trusted point of contact for partners and their teams, translating practice needs into action at headquarters and bringing MB2 standards, resources, and vendor relationships to the field. What You Will Do:
- Be the regional IT relationship owner. Serve as the primary point of contact between headquarters and partner practices for all IT matters. Build trusted relationships with partners, practice managers, and practice-side IT providers.
- Coordinate technical support and escalations. Own escalated issues for your region through the MB2 ticketing system, work with the service desk and field teams to drive resolution and keep practices informed until the issue is closed.
- Lead hardware lifecycle and technology refresh projects. Assess practice environments, scope and quote replacement servers, workstations, imaging PCs, printers, and network equipment against MB2 standards, and guide purchases through approval and installation.
- Coordinate outage response. Act as the regional lead during site-down events, coordinating on-site resources, vendors, and headquarters teams to restore operations quickly.
- Manage regional vendors and field resources. Develop and coordinate a bench of local IT vendors and technicians, review scopes of work, and oversee third-party providers working within MB2 practices.
- Support practice management and imaging systems. Coordinate with software vendors on performance issues, upgrades, and hardware requirements for platforms such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, as well as dental imaging systems.
- Protect patient data. Apply MB2 security and HIPAA standards in the field, including secure asset handling and compliant disposal of retired equipment.
- Guide technology decisions with partners. Help partners understand MB2 technology standards, cost responsibilities, and available options, and drive decisions to closure.
- Coordinate integration of new practices. Support IT assessments and onboarding activities for practices joining MB2, ensuring a smooth transition to MB2 systems and support.
- Manage regional IT projects. Oversee IT initiatives within your region, coordinating with headquarters project teams to meet timelines and budgets and applying change management practices to minimize disruption.
- Track and report. Monitor regional IT spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report progress, challenges, and trends to IT leadership.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of IT experience, ideally in a multi-site, field, or healthcare environment.
- Strong customer service and relationship skills with the confidence to work directly with business owners.
- Working knowledge of servers, workstations, networking, printers, and Windows environments.
- Experience with dental practice management or imaging software strongly preferred.
- Experience coordinating vendors, quotes, and technology purchases.
- Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data handling requirements preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-directed, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities across many locations.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed.
